Jalil joined ID Architects in 2006 as an Associate and appointed as Director in 2011. Since joining ID Architects, Jalil has undertaken and completed a wide range of projects, notably architecture and interior projects such as Punggol Green Primary School (attained BCA CPA Gold Award 2013), Alexandra Primary School (attained BCA Green Mark Platinum Award 2013) and various military facility buildings. For the industrial sector, Jalil has been involved in special industrial projects such as nutritional plants, semiconductor plants, and logistics/self-storage warehouses. Jalil led ID Architects to attaining the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 as well as the Business Continuity Management System (ISO 22301) Certification. He leads the office towards productivity and service excellence.

Hong Swee joined ID Architects in 2014 as a Senior Architect and appointed as Director in Technology in 2017. Lim Hong Swee graduated from the University of Tasmania, Australia with a Bachelor in Architecture (honours) in 2003 and has since had a wide range of work experience Singapore and in Australia. His experience in Singapore range from large scale institutional, industrial, planning projects to modest scale residential works that require attention to details. His experience in Australia includes several mixed-use developments, multi-unit townhouse developments and numerous single-owner residential works. His strength is in his flexibility of scale, managing a wide repertoire of building typologies and the ability to conceptualise ideas and attend to fine details. Hong Swee is responsible and well-versed in building codes and practices.

Siti’s early career in Malaysia’s architectural landscape instilled her with a diverse palette of experiences, spanning planning, urban design, and extensive project types like high-rise residences, commercial spaces, education, institutions, and more. With over 20 years of combined architectural experience in Southeast Asia and Australia, her meticulous eye for detail and adept contract management have made her indispensable at IDAA. While her design enthusiasm is evident, Siti’s flair for on-site troubleshooting and innovative problem-solving shines. Balancing artistic creativity with budgetary constraints, she’s dedicated to quality outcomes, epitomising a dynamic blend of design and practicality.

Shawn MJ Lim has more than three decades of experience across architecture, interior design, and spatial practice in Australia and Asia. Since beginning his career in 1990, he has led and contributed to residential, commercial, hospitality, and high-density housing projects internationally, bringing a distinctive blend of cultural sensitivity, spatial storytelling, and human-centred design. His work has been featured in design publications and on television in Shanghai, reflecting a practice that combines conceptual depth with practical delivery. Alongside his professional practice, Shawn has made a strong contribution to architectural education, teaching at the School of Architecture and supporting emerging designers in developing critical thinking, spatial awareness, and professional communication. His approach to architecture is grounded in the belief that meaningful spaces connect people with memory, culture, and place.

With over 11 years of professional experience as both a project and design architect, Marie leads architectural design on competition and design-driven projects across a range of scales. Marie is actively involved from early visioning and concept development through to resolved architectural proposals, shaping clear design narratives, spatial strategies, and formal expressions. Her work balances strong conceptual thinking with technical awareness, ensuring design ambition is translated into coherent, buildable outcomes and carried through all stages of the project lifecycle.
Marie collaborates closely with directors and multidisciplinary teams to test, refine, and elevate design quality, contributing to projects that are both rigorous and expressive.
